The Weather Accelerator is our new Community for discussing all things weather.
The Community is Free to join (for the first 100 members). It is hosted by the Skool platform, which hosts thousands of people who run groups around their passions.
We built a Facebook page over the last few years and ended up with over 1,100 followers, but Facebook has become a bit of a nightmare recently.
Facebook is plagued by advertising. Adverts are pushed down your throat by the algorithm. We are sick of that.
That is why we chose to move to Skool. There are no ads, no algorithm and most importantly no trolls.
Weather posts, and primarily those detailing Climate Change, have attracted scammers, trolls and people intent on tearing down the science.
It is very dangerous at the moment, and that why we’ve built our Community. This is a private community discussion group where you can leave your thoughts on the weather, ask questions, tell us about your own weather station, publish reports, weather news, or even tell a joke or two. 🙂
